THE NEW POLICY ON PAYMENT OF FEES; EFFECTIVE FROM 2017/2018 SESSION
The University Management, at its 103rd meeting held on Thursday, August 31, 2017 deliberated upon the existing Policy on fees payment by the students of the University, noted the trend of payment plans and reviewed the Policy with a view to making it more functional for the system.
The General Public is hereby informed and students and their parents are particularly informed that the Payment Plan had been modified as follows: Henceforth;
• All students shall pay for accommodation and at least 50% of the tuition to. qualify for the registration of courses at the commencement of the session.
•Payment of additional 20% shall be made, to qualify the student to write first semester examination.
•Payment of the remaining 30% shall be made before the commencement of Second Semester Examination.
• All returning students shall now be required to obtain a clearance of no indebtedness to the University from the office of the Bursar before they could register for a new-' session as well as proceed on industrial attachment as the case may be.
•For the avoidance of doubt all students are required to acquaint themselves with the details of fees payable on the University 'website.
Students are kindly required to note the above and adhere strictly to this new Policy on payment. of fees. Kindly give the above information a wider publicity that it deserves to all concerned.
