It was encomiums galore as staff of the Vice-Chancellor’s office, together with the University Principal Officers gave the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Benard Eronmonsele Aigbokhan, a surprise cocktail party in his office.

The Assistant Registrar (Vice-Chancellor’s Office), Mr. Lawrence Ebalogben, who set the ball rolling said it was absolutely imperative to organize the cocktail party in honour of our good-natured, vibrant and visionary Vice-Chancellor to mark his 67th birthday, on Wednesday, 3rd October, 2018.

This was followed by a session of prayer for the Vice-Chancellor anchored by the Corporate Affairs Officer, Mr. Ayodele Idowu and the University Librarian, Dr. Christopher Nkiko.

A moderate and colorful cake was later cut under the supervision of the Registrar. The Vice-Chancellor was overwhelmed by the kind words showered on him. He profoundly appreciated everyone but gave all the glory to God Almighty for the privilege and grace.
